Sherani Engineering, A PAeC Success Story

Being part of a cluster organization like PAeC, brings about unforeseen opportunities for those of its members to take an active part in its activities.

Sherani Engineering is one of the early members of Pakistan Aerospace Council (PAeC) and has been actively participating in activities intended to enhance business growth possibilities supported by PAeC, including co-exhibiting with PAC at Airtec-2017, delegation at CERN to liaison with procurement team, liaison meetings at Air-headquarters and Heavy industries Taxila. Sherani was introduced to PAC Kamra by PAeC for a project which not only brought it goodwill and high visibility but also led to inquiries from various other defence outfits and Sherani order book continues to grow!

Having developed close relationship with PAF, Sherani has won business exceeding PKR 300 million in the first 2 years.  They are now a well reputed supplier for PAC, PAF, AWC, Advance Engineering Research Organization (AERO), HIT, and CERN.

Sherani Engg has been a tool and machinery maker for the automobile sector since 35 years and has scored many credits in this field.  Having played an important part on equipping automotive assembly lines in Pakistan they also helped ISUZU Japan to setup their truck cab assembly in Moscow, Russia guarda ora.

It is interesting to note that with its rich background in serving global auto giants, Sherani’s association with PAeC has created a wonderful combination where the Hi-tech defence sector of Pakistan is benefiting from their expertise and saving billions of Rupees in foreign exchange to the national exchequer.

Currently, most of the major OEMs in Pakistan are satisfied customers of Sherani Engineering.  Having experience of exporting Jigs to Isuzu Assembly in Moscow, Russia – in 2018, Sherani Engineering signed a contract of designing, manufacturing & commissioning of Jigs for the MALE UAV being developed by Pakistan Air Force. Earlier these Jigs were imported from China. Sherani Engineering now continues to support advanced engineering, design and development work being carried out at various PAF Air Bases across Pakistan.

Mr. Mahmood Alam Sherani, CEO Sherani Engineering believes that the business of his company has expanded manifold after joining PAeC Cluster. The introduction of his company to Pakistan Air Force through the platform of PAeC Cluster has truely changed the dynamics of his business.

Dr Haroon J Qureshi Talks about the Role Pakistan Aerospace Council is Playing to Promote Hi-tech Industry
