PAeC Engages in Export Dialogue, Fostering Economic Growth
Pakistan Aerospace Council (PAeC) recently participated in the Export Dialogue hosted by the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) at Islamabad Serena Hotel. This pivotal gathering brought together industry leaders, government officials, international experts, and presidents of chambers of commerce from across Pakistan for a dynamic conference aimed at enhancing growth in the country’s export ecosystem.
Led by Mr. Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Former Prime Minister of Pakistan, the conference focused on the theme “Directions: Enhancing Growth in the Country’s Export Ecosystem.” Dr. Raza Bakir, Former Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan, delivered a keynote address, shedding light on the policy framework for export promotion and fostering economic growth through incentives and strategies.
PAeC actively participated in discussions and sessions aimed at exploring avenues for enhancing export opportunities in the aerospace industry. The session was expertly moderated by Ms. Saima Amjad, CEO of AL-Majara Foods Pvt Limited. PAeC Convener, Mr. Imtiaz Rastgar, was also part of the panel discussion on “Leveraging Local Strengths: How Non-Exporting Sectors Can Break into International Trade.” He shared valuable insights and ideas on the subject matter, highlighting the aerospace sector’s potential to contribute to Pakistan’s export industry.
