PAKSAT MM1: Pakistan Launches Second Satellite into Space Aiming for the Faster Internet
The Pakistan Aerospace Council (PAeC) is proud to announce the successful launch of Pakistan’s advanced communication satellite, PakSAT-MM1, by the Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) in collaboration with China. This marks Islamabad’s second satellite to be sent into orbit.
Launched from China’s Xichang Satellite Launch Center (XSLC), PAKSAT-MM1 will deploy at an altitude of 36,000 km above Earth. This high-power multi-mission satellite will provide communication services in C, Ku, Ka Bands and SBAS services in L Band, playing a pivotal role in ushering Pakistan into the digital era.
