MoU Signing Ceremony | PAeC & IEEE Islamabad Section
A landmark milestone was marked as Pakistan Aerospace Council (PAeC) and the IEEE Islamabad Section entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), aimed at bridging academia, industry, and policy for the advancement of Pakistan’s high-tech and aerospace ecosystem.
The MoU aims to promote:
- Technical collaboration through training, workshops & R&D
- Industry exposure and internships for students
- Support for innovation-driven startups
- Joint participation in global exhibitions and delegations
The ceremony was attended by leadership from both sides, reflecting the shared commitment to collaboration and national development. From PAeC, Mr. Shahid Rafiq (President), Mr. Mansoor Malik (Member Advisory Board), Engr. Tanveer Ahmed (Treasurer), and Dr. Javaid Ahsan Bhatti (General Secretary) were present. Representing the IEEE Islamabad Section were Dr. Nosherwan Shoaib and Dr. Atif Jilani (Treasurer).
The MoU outlines multi-dimensional collaboration, connecting students with PAeC member companies, fostering innovation through professional linkages, and enabling strategic dialogue between IEEE leadership and the PAeC Board to address policy gaps and accelerate high-tech industrial growth.
This partnership opens new avenues for professional development, research, global visibility, and the collective promotion of Pakistan’s position in the global technology arena.
