Government has completely neglected Auto and Manufacturing Industry in the Budget, says Mr. Mashood Ali Khan

Mr. Mashood Ali Khan, Director Exports Mehran Commercial Enterprises (Member Pakistan Aerospace Council) has said that the budget was not promising to the manufacturers.

Talking to Pakistan Observer, Dawn News, Business Recorder, Daily Express, Dunya News and reporters from other media groups, he said that auto industry requested the government to abolish ACD, ASD from imported raw materials, remove FED and minimum turnover tax from 1.5 percent to 0.5 percent and defer CNIC at the time of buying at least for one year. However, no demand has been accepted in this budget that will create more difficulties for the manufacturers to revive the industry guarda ora.
