Leaders and Policymakers Unite at Pakistan Energy Symposium 2024

The Pakistan Energy Symposium 2024 took place in Islamabad on May 22, 2024, This Symposium was jointly organized by Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OICCI), and Shell Pakistan Limited. This prestigious gathering Industry Leaders, Policymakers, and Stakeholders to collaborate on building a sustainable energy future for Pakistan. Mr. Imtiaz Rastgar, as Convener, represented the Pakistan Aerospace Council (PAeC) at the event.

Senator Dr. Musadik Malik, Federal Minister for Petroleum & Water Resources, highlighted Pakistan’s renewable energy potential, noting that costs for Solar and Wind energy have significantly dropped, enabling the country to produce green electricity using a hybrid system of sunlight, wind and water.

The symposium presented a unique opportunity for engaging dialogue and the establishment of strategic alliances aimed at reducing dependence on imported fuels, elevating industry capabilities, and unlocking the potential of renewable energy sources.
