The 14th Executive Board Meeting of Pakistan Aerospace Council (PAeC) was held on 06 January, 2020 at PAeC Head Office, Islamabad. Dr. Haroon Javed Qureshi (President PAeC), Mr. Asif Jah (Gen Secretary), Mr. Tanveer Ahmed (Treasurer), Mr. Imtiaz Ali Rastgar (Convener), Dr. Arshad Ali (Co-convener), Mr. Waleed Shahid (Executive Member) and Mr. Muhammad Tahir (Project Coordinator) attended the meeting.
Addressing the meeting, Dr. Haroon Qureshi said that PIA is a national identity for Pakistan within the country as well as abroad. He lauded the efforts of Air Marshal Arshad Malik in putting the national carrier on progress trajectory path. All the council executive members expressed serious concerns on stopping Air Marshal Arshad Malik from work on a misleading suit filed by the fake degree holder employees who were sacked on merit and others having vested interests trying to continue Status quo.
The board reviewed the progress and agreed to speed up the process of starting Lahore and Karachi chapters at its earliest. On the proposal of Mr. Imtiaz Ali Rastgar and Dr. Arshad Ali, it was decided to host a PAeC Members’ Industry Exhibition at Air University (E-9, Islamabad) Campus inviting Air Headquarters, PAC, Kamra, Pak Navy and students of Air University to attend the exhibition.
Matters pertaining to the functioning of PAeC, developing and strengthening closer relationship of PAeC member companies with Pakistan Aeronautical Complex, Kamra & PIA also came under discussion during the meeting.
