DSS Aerospace Conducts Successful Flight Testing of SALAAR 30 VTOL Platforms
The Pakistan Aerospace Council congratulates its member company Defence Solutions & Systems – DSS Aerospace team on the successful flight testing of two SALAAR 30 VTOL unmanned aerial platforms, marking another step forward in Pakistan’s indigenous aerospace capabilities.
Developed and manufactured in Pakistan, the SALAAR 30 combines vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) capability with the cruise efficiency of a fixed-wing aircraft. Its configuration enables operations without conventional runways, catapults, or recovery nets, offering greater operational flexibility from unprepared locations.
The flight trials successfully demonstrated vertical take-off, transition to fixed-wing flight, autonomous waypoint navigation, stable flight performance, and recovery. The successful testing of both platforms reflects the growing capabilities of DSS Aerospace in systems engineering, flight-control integration, composite airframe development, and indigenous UAV technologies.
PAeC commends the DSS Aerospace team for this achievement and its contribution to strengthening Pakistan’s domestic aerospace and unmanned systems ecosystem.
